Todd Nestel serves as the President for W&O where he is responsible for leading the company as we prepare to thrive over the next decade.
Todd joined W&O after spending the majority of his career at Drew Marine and Drew Industrial where he served in various sales and sales management roles. His focus was on international business in Central America and the Caribbean, the mining industry, and the cruise market. Todd also served as the Director of Sales and then Vice President of Engineering at Chariot Robotics who manufactured a robotic system marketed to the maritime industry.
Todd is a graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy with a dual major in Marine Engineering and Marine Transportation. He also served as Lieutenant Commander in the United States Naval Reserve for 12 years. Todd loves boating, fishing, mountain biking and spending time with his family.
Vice President of East and West Coast Operations
As Vice President of East and West Coast Operations, Michael Page is responsible for the company's operations in Southern California, and thePacific Northwest, Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions of the United States and Canada. With an extensive background in the transportation and logistics industry, Mr. Page's experience positions him to face the challenges of the evolving maritime industry.
Mr. Page began his career at Coopers & Lybrand, CPAs, followed by progressively responsible positions within several public and private entities including CSX Corporation (CSX). Mr. Page was the CFO of First Coast Energy, a joint venture including Shell Oil, where he was instrumental in its rapid growth from start-up.
A certified public accountant and a member of the Financial Executives Institute, Mr. Page received a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Valdosta State University and a MBA from the University of North Florida. Mike supports several charitable organizations and serves on the Board of Directors of Trinity Rescue Mission in Jacksonville. Mike enjoys inshore fishing, bird hunting, college football and spending time with his family.
Vice President of Operations
Michael Mickle began his career as a petroleum engineer and project manager for Sperry Sun Drilling Services, providing technology-based drilling services to the major oil companies. He was focused on upstream oil and gas exploration and introduced the company's services into the North Sea operating theatre. Sperry Sun is now part of the Halliburton corporation.
After receiving his Master’s degree, Mr. Mickle worked on the development and application of supply-chain technologies for the transportation and logistics industry. His work brought him to Jacksonville, Florida, where he joined Crowley Maritime and later helped to start Crowley's logistics company and also assembled Crowley's yield-management program. When Hamburg Süd acquired Crowley's South America business, Mike joined Hamburg Süd as Vice President of Trade Management.
Mr. Mickle’s education includes a petroleum-engineering degree from Louisiana State University, a MBA from the University of North Carolina and logistics training at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's executive summer program.
Chief Financial Officer
Greg Lechwar is the Chief Financial Officer for W&O where he oversees the company's financial matters; including banking, insurance and cash management. Mr. Lechwar began his career at one of the “Big Four” accounting firms, PwC, before starting his tenure in the transportation and logistics industry.
Prior to joining W&O, he served as the Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at Patriot Transportation and as the Vice President and Controller at Ring Power Corporation, one of the largest Caterpillar dealers in the Southeastern United States.
Graduating with a Masters in Accountancy from the University of Florida, Mr. Lechwar is a Certified Public Accountant, a Chartered Global Management Accountant and a member of the AICPA. Married with two children, Mr. Lechwar enjoys hiking, kayaking and camping in their vintage 1977 VW Westfalia. He also serves on the board of directors for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Jacksonville.
Vice President of Technical Projects
Fred Loomis serves as the Vice President of Technical Projects for W&O where he leads the company’s key markets and technical projects. He also works very closely with all of W&O’s North American Regional and Branch managers who serve and sell to their local markets. Fred has been with W&O for 17 years, and is very active in legislative and environmental issues affecting the maritime industry. He began his W&O tenure as a Northeast Sales Representative before moving on to become the Director of Navy and Government Sales. Previously, Fred worked as a Tug Captain for Reinauer Transportation of New York for 10 years.
