New warehouse provides faster, more competitive service for clients in Asia.
W&O’s Asia team are excited to announce their move into new facilities with a 1,000m2 warehouse, boosting their ability to service clients in Singapore and across the region. The large marine valve stock in Singapore allows the team to service and support repair shipyards and shipowners operating in the region for all their urgent requirements at a competitive price – just as it would anywhere else in the world. Across the whole of the W&O team, in all our offices, reliability and trustworthiness are paramount in our list of customer service values.
W&O is one of the world’s largest suppliers of pipes, valves, actuated valves, engineered products, and fittings to the marine market. We are the only global supplier with distribution warehouses and testing capabilities in the US, Asia, and Europe. Going forward, our new warehouses will be a key piece of our global strategy to ensure we can deliver engineering, technical, and supply chain support to our customers.
In a dynamic and competitive port city like Singapore, W&O stands out from other traders for two essential reasons.
Firstly, we don’t just source products, we stock them – in their thousands. Our Singapore warehouse, full of essential marine valves, means that we can deliver competitive prices for our clients across the region. This includes eliminating travel costs, where items commonly marked up to cover the cost of products being flown into the port at short notice. Even better, W&O can help with short project timelines and quick turn arounds; our clients can simply walk into our warehouse and choose the parts they need from the shelves.
Secondly, we only focus on the maritime industries. For that past 45 years, we have been a dedicated partner to the marine market, and our team bring all of this knowledge and experience to bear in their client service. Our teams have the skills and knowledge to make the best recommendations for parts, mitigating any risk of down time, and improving operational safety which provides shipyards and owners with the peace of mind to navigate regulatory compliance.
The Singapore team will be working in offices alongside colleagues from our parent company PON.
